Born the daughter of an Australian international airline pilot and spending much of my childhood abroad, I was welcomed to the world of international travel at an early age, and the immersion of different cultures, languages, scenery, and environments instilled a deep interest and curiosity for travel that has never ceased.

Having initially pursued a career in nursing at St Vincent’s hospital in Sydney, my passion for travel led me to a decision to move to the growing capital Canberra in 1984 to establish my first travel agency. My service minded approach from nursing and first hand travel knowledge and experience that I accumulated in my early years of family travel was very well received and quickly led to repeat client business and many friendships that have continued until today.

As my business has expanded over the past 30+ years as a travel professional servicing both leisure and corporate clients (with a specialisation in luxury travel in the leisure segment), I have maintained my passion for travel and commitment to give first hand advice wherever possible. This has involved travelling to over 60 countries, proactively seeking out emerging destinations and suppliers with the goal of delivering the best travel experience for our clients.

Outside of travel my interests include fashion, food, wine and interior design.

My travelling days commenced in earnest as an employee in the Office of Ceremonial and Hospitality in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet where I was involved in the visits to Australia by guests of government. Guests included the Royal Family, Heads of State, Foreign Government and International Organisations and Foreign Government Ministers. My role involved the preparation of programs, all travel arrangements, security, and travelling as the Australian representative whilst the guests were in Australia.

I then moved into the private sector where I have been working in the travel industry for more than twenty years supporting corporate and leisure clients, but specialising in senior’s travel. My private travels have covered the full spectrum: from tent to palace, donkey to Rolls Royce, Cesna to A380, and canoe to 5 star cruising. This diverse portfolio of experiences provides many a story and shapes my knowledge for engaging with clients to help them plan the perfect journey.
